We are manufacturers of sporting and gaming products. This firm was started in 1986 situated in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. We deals in cricket equipments, baseball bats, rounder bats, yard games, wooden hockey sticks and lots more. We are masters in producing customize wooden products.
Our ancestors were indulged in wooden items manufacturing, which includes furniture and musical instruments. Along with that, they supply sawn wood planks to hockey stick manufacturers.
April 13, 1971 was the date when we entered in sporting goods industry. We manufactured wooden field hockey stick’s blades (bend/hook at the bottom of hockey stick). Its production starts with picking up finely graded wood with straight and even grains then steamed in boiling water, then bending it in press machine. That product was highly appreciated by customers. In next decade, we had done the business with almost all hockey stick manufacturers in the country.
In 1986, we built new factory and expand our infrastructure in 30,000 sq feet. We came up with an advanced factory, where we replaced all old equipments with latest machinery. On April 13, 1986, we registered B.H.K.INTERNATIONAL firm. This fresh start was a big hustle which leads to great success. We had grown a lot and have hunger of learning new things.
We invested a lot to produce high class quality. We do not buy sawn wood planks for our wooden items. Instead we buy wood logs and saw them in our advance wood sawing section equipped with band saw machines and cutting machines. This is done to pull out the best wood possible from a log. We do have indoor and outdoor wood seasoning space.
Our factory is equipped with high tech wood working machinery. We do all types of wood turning work on CNC lathe machines to ensure an indistinguishable profile or shape of a lot.
Also we have surface and gauge plaining machinery. We have a huge variety of milling machinery.
Any kind of wood laminating job can be easily done in our factory. We do have a wide range of special purpose clamps, moulids and jigs which are designed and make in house in our tool room.
Our major raw materials are lumber logs. The vision of using harvested trees by farmers will keep jungles safe for environment and wildlife. Wood is a natural resource that is sourced from trees. It lies under renewable resources and is being used since the inception of mankind. Many trees are purposely grown to extract timber for production and development.
On the contrast, plastic is an artificial material made from fossil fuel feedstock. It comprises some harmful material and releases hazardous gases while burning. On another hand, wooden products can be decompose easily and self sustainable.
We are working in this industry from more than 50 years and all our three generations are working together which leads to a strong team having old school craftsmanship experience as well as confront with latest technology. All the research and development work is done by us personally. We spent most of our time with our workers to train, educate and share ideas to deliver best quality products.
